TECHNICAL SPECS

Blueshark® tanks are manufactured as a single piece with a high-density polyethylene lining, highly resistant to leaks due to its encapsulated polymer engineering. The tanks feature a reinforced fiberglass construction, offering excellent performance and durability.

Available in 8” x 17” to 48” x 72” and in a variety of different configurations, these tanks are designed to give you years of worry-free performance.

ADVANCED ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING

Manufacturing processes: 6" to 36" HDPE liners are made by CNC-controlled blow molding machines. The HDPE liner of the industrial tank is made by a CNC-controlled rotational molding machine. Inserts and inlet bases are made from CNC-controlled injection molding machines. FRP outer covers are made by CNC-controlled, multi-axis filament winding machines.

Blueshark® tanks are leak-tested before leaving the factory. Randomly selected products are subjected to fatigue and burst tests to verify design and quality parameters.

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS

All building materials in contact with water are food grade materials.
Inner cover (lining): high density polyethylene (HDPE)
Outer cover: fiberglass reinforced with epoxy resin.
The inlet inserts are made of injection molded glass reinforced thermoplastic. The flanges are made of cast aluminum. Residential tank bases are made of impact-resistance injection molded thermoset plastic. The bases of the industrial tanks are made of FRP laminate.
