The Hidroponia is one of the largest greenhouses in La Piedad, Michoacan. A greenhouse of this magnitude and quality requires a system that delivers only the best results, and this can be achieved through reverse osmosis to avoid the loss of nutrients in the food as well as the reduction of food waste.
In this project, American Water Solutions innovated the reverse osmosis system to control irrigation nutrients in all greenhouses. This process controls losses, mineralization and nutrients—such as potassium, sodium and nitrogen, among others—thereby achieving the objective set to date. Today, the company generates 1035 m/3 of mineralized water per day that is used in the greenhouse. We help to improve the physical and chemical characteristics of all products.
